Family, Marriage, Couples & Individual Counseling
Bringing counseling therapy into a nature-based setting, LifeStriders’ holistic and integrative approach to counseling often works where traditional therapy approaches haven’t. Sessions may include walking the trails, caring for horses, experiential activities, and learning that stimulates the mind-body connection.
In addition to in person counseling services, LifeStriders also provides Telehealth individual counseling, marriage counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, and trauma and grief counseling from its team of licensed psychotherapists
Our therapists provide life-coaching and counseling for children, individuals, and families. Providing the highest quality of behavioral health services, LifeStriders nurtures a therapeutic environment that fosters individual strengths while focusing on results and solutions.
Veronica Sosa Agnoli, MS, LPC, is a bilingual school psychologist, psychotherapist, and co-founder of LifeStriders. In addition to a MS in School Psychology, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Veronica’s holistic approach to treatment grew from her dedication to helping individuals, children, and families achieve the emotional well-being that is essential to living a healthy and well-balanced life.
Melissa Marshall, MA, LPC, has been working as a Licensed Professional Counselor at LifeStriders since August of 2014. Melissa graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2010 and a Masters in Counseling in 2015. She previously worked to facilitate in-home therapy for children with autism and Down syndrome and as care coordinator for at-risk youth and families in the Milwaukee County Children's Court system. Being a part of LifeStriders has allowed Melissa to combine her passions in life: nature, adventure, and helping others.
Craig Sweeny, MS, LPC-IT
Craig is a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training at LifeStriders, and joined the team in March of 2023. Craig received his Masters in Community Counseling from Alverno College in May of 2022. While at Alverno, Craig began internship work in rural school districts as an in-school counselor, garnering valuable experience working with young clients with a broad range of needs.
Seeking to work with a wider range of clients, Craig found LifeStriders, and was drawn to their nature-based approach to therapy. As an avid hiker, Craig likes walking the grounds with clients whenever possible, and has found clients enjoy the simple pleasure of walking the trails or interacting with horses during sessions. Being a veteran, Craig feels LifeStriders’ commitment to serving the military and their families is critical, and enjoys being a part of the organization’s work in fulfilling that promise.

TRUE LIFE CHANGES:
"I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with Veronica Sosa now for almost 2 years and it has been a relationship that I value more than any words can express. Veronica’s knowledge and compassion on so many different topics and her ability to guide me both personally and professionally has been absolutely invaluable. Because of Veronica’s guidance what started off as a series of counseling sessions has become more life coaching, an obvious step in the right direction. As a business owner myself, I have a very high appreciation for Veronica’s knowledge in business and her eagerness to allow me to use her a bouncing board for idea’s. She always makes herself available to me and her rates are exceptionally well priced. Something that is very much needed in our community with its diverse population and culture. I highly encourage anyone that is looking to, or even thinking about working with a counselor, life coach, etc. to reach out to Veronica or any of the other professionals at LifeStriders." ~ Brian
“The trauma that both my husband and I suffered from losing our jobs when the company we both worked for went out of business was overwhelming. Our whole family was having a difficult time dealing with the stress…screaming and tantruming wasn’t healthy for any of us, so we sought out family counseling. A search for family counselors in Waukesha County brought up Veronica Sosa and LifeStriders. Together and individually, we worked on ways to improve our communication and help each of us heal.” ~ From a Counseling Client
