Participant Absence and Cancellation Policy
Published by veronica on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 at 5/08/2007 01:13:00 PM.LifeStriders believes that riders of all abilities achieve the greatest benefits from consistency in their lessons. To this end, we do our utmost to provide consistent instructors, volunteers and horses for our riders. We serve a significant number of riders each week, and take great efforts to find time slots that best meet your/your child’s needs and volunteers to assist with our therapeutic lessons. As a result, we ask all of our riders to make a commitment to attendance at their lessons for each session that they enroll in. We understand that illnesses and unforeseen circumstances may arise that will necessitate a cancellation in a scheduled lesson.
During each lesson block (spring, summer and fall), LifeStriders will give a credit or will attempt to reschedule if possible in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, or sickness on the part of our instructors or horses. Understanding that unforeseen illnesses may occur we request that you give us 24 hours notice when possible, so that we have adequate time to notify our instructors and our volunteers who assist with lessons. We will attempt to reschedule lessons missed due to illness based on class and volunteer availability, but please understand that rescheduling is not guaranteed. Only in cases where doctor's orders mandate discontinuing therapeutic riding, will credits be given for future lesson blocks. All credits must be used within that year and will expire in the new year. Special circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.
Thank You
Host a Birthday Party Fund Raiser - Thank You Braden and Brock Gogin
Published by roco on Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 5/01/2007 08:33:00 AM.
LifeStriders would like to acknowledge and specially thank two boys that truly have the community at heart this year. Braden and Brock Gogin decided that this year they were going to hold a birthday party with a special twist: instead of having their guests bring presents for them, they requested that their guests make a donation to LifeStriders.
The two brothers invited their friends and successfully fund raised just under $600 to benefit the participants and families of LifeStriders. Everyone here at LifeStriders would like to extend a big thank you to Braden and Brock and your friends and family, for your generous contribution this year.
If you know someone in your family who would like to give back to the community this year, please don't hesitate to call LifeStriders to get details on how to host a birthday party fund raiser!
