Dress Warm
Published by roco on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 10/13/2006 03:43:00 PM.October 13 - A cold fall day (more pictures)! For everyone who got to witness nature's first surprise snow flakes on Thursday, thank you for braving the cold and we hope you had as much fun as we did. Good thing we had some horses around to keep us warm!
Volunteers and riders should bring warm clothes (jackets, gloves, hats, and thermal layers) when the weather gets chilly. Wisconsin seasons are anyone's guess, and if you are prepared for it, you will have a lot more fun in the great outdoors with horses.
If you would like to check the LifeStriders weather on any of our lesson days, you may go to the calendar and view the forecast there.
Welcome Oscar!

Bash in the Grass

Kettle Moraine High School's Bash in the Grass was a huge success. Thanks to Lindsay and Bob for manning the booth, Lisa for getting the banners made, and Friends of Nature for sponsoring our canopy and banners. The KMHS and Arrowhead marketing groups raised money for LifeStriders rider scholarships at this event by getting corporate sponsorships and providing an inflatable carnival of games and rides before the big Arrowhead and KMHS showdown. There was a great turnout and the rides and games were a lot of fun. Thanks everyone at KMHS and Arrowhead for choosing LifeStriders as your Charity. You have put alot of smiles on faces around here! See more photos here.
